Dental Assistant Certification Lookup

Only a few states require dental assistants to be licensed, but the majority have regulations that determine the level of education and certification necessary to work as a dental assistant The most common certifications available to Dental Assistant professionals include the CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) and the RDA (Registered Dental Assistant). Other certifications available include the NELDA (National Entry Level Dental Assistant), the COA (Certified Orthodontic Assistant), the CPFDA (Certified Preventive Functions Dental Assistant), the CRFDA (Certified Restorative Functions Dental Assistant) and the DAR (Dental Assisting Radiography . Less common Dental Assistant certifications may also be available to Dental Assistant professionals.
